Catching up with friends you haven't seen in a long time is something I am really loving to do.
Yesterday Bobbie and i met Laura at Chipotle for lunch. It was a lot of fun catching up with her. There is just something about her that has to make you feel good.
Tomorrow I am going to meet Adam for dinner on the Plaza. Hopefully Meg doesn't have to work and can come too. I really want to see the pictures she recently got developed from 7th grade. lol
This week i have sparatically been forced in to setting up my mom's first grade classroom. Actually having the thought of missing doing it in years to come. That is something i never thought i would think about! Jake however was glad he wasn't going to have to decorate his future classroom because he plans to have a pretty empty highschool classroom. I told him he has to at least put up one bulletin board to give the illusion it isn't a prison. But alas, he is in New Orleans for the next week. We seem to be missing each other a lot. He was gone to Maine, then i was in Branson which got detoured to Arkansas-Bella Vista, and i come back and he is gone again. *sigh*
I have started accumulating a pile of stuff to take to the dorm. A sign that college is fast approching. I can't wait, and then a tiny part can, that part mainly attached to Jake-but i'm not letting him hold me back ( as if he could;) ). I have to take my own toilet paper. Good grief. Mom told my g-ma to get me toilet paper for Christmas. Oh what a joy that will be to open!
I still need to get some actual school supplies. And i need to go shopping for some new school outfits. Shopping yeah!!!
The monday before school starts Im going to the Josh Groban concert! I am excited. I hope landa and elsbe have fun at the Evanesence concert tonight. I really wanted to go to that concert too. ah well.
Saturday i'm goign to the T-bones game. Anyone else going?
Oh and if anyone reads this that i haven't already told. I am trying to get a group of people to go to Worlds of Fun on the 12th of August. Sort of a last thing before we all start college. Plus i haven't been in over a year and thought it would be fun...ok Jake AND I thought this up...but he is making me do all the calling and stuff so he should get no real credit. :P
